Ken DoRosario, known as Kendo by friends and fans alike, fronted his first band when he was 11 years old and has been a lead vocalist in bands ever since, More recently, Kendo has been performing solo acoustic shows at venues of all sizes, from theaters to local watering holes. He is a veteran musician of the Boston Music scene, but has played at amazing rooms throughout New England, New York, and even Europe and Costa Rica. As the frontman of the Boston-based funk/rock outfit, DR.AWKWARD, shared the stage with acts such as the Barenaked Ladies, Dispatch, Guster, Will Dailey, and Jeffrey Gaines.
